As the world is still reeling amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the hospitals have been some of the hardest-hit facilities of all. King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Pathum Wan District in Bangkok is no exception. Being a public general and tertiary referral hospital run by the Red Cross was one of the critical reasons Bophie elected to donate a massive sum of 300 000 Baht to the hospital.
The goodwill gesture is part of the overall Bophie philosophy of looking after its people, nature, the environment, and the planet.
The King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital serves as a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing. It is considered one of the best public hospitals in the country.
The hospital has been core to the treatment of patients that have been affected by the pandemic and is a critical part of the community.
The donation to the hospital is just one of the community and sustainability-based projects of the Bophie company.
